What does flat acceptance look like?
The audit is performed in line with the options included in your selected service package. Any comments and observations are addressed directly to the developer, who is obliged to remove the defects. Afterwards, you receive a report from us together with photographic documentation of the defects found.
What documents should I prepare for the acceptance procedure?
When ordering our services, all you need to attach is the floor plan and the developer’s prospectus for the property. Where possible, we also ask that you attach installation drawings for the building.
Is there any point in acceptance of secondary-market properties?
Of course. In this situation, we will also focus on the technical condition resulting from operation of the building and its natural use. During such an inspection, we assess e.g. the presence of moisture, scratches, efficiency of the electrical installation, airtightness of the ventilation or socket voltage
What do the order and payment procedures look like?
Ordering services from DEKRA is child’s play. You fill in the form on our website and receive a payment form in return. Once payment has been completed, your order is accepted. Following technical acceptance of the property, you will receive a relevant VAT invoice.
When should you opt for a service with the use of a thermal imaging camera?
It is a good idea to use a thermal imaging camera e.g. when you want to verify the presence of thermal bridges, i.e. areas where heat is lost. This device also makes it possible to check the correctness of installation of door and window joinery, the condition of thermal insulation, load on the electrical installation and many other things.
What do I need to bear in mind when opting for an inspection with the use of a thermal imaging camera?
Proper thermal imaging measurement is only possible when the difference between the temperature inside and outside the rooms is at least 12-15°C. A European standard specifies the environmental conditions according to which the feasibility of such an inspection is strictly dependent on the wind (strong wind causes walls to cool down, which changes the result of thermal imaging) and sun exposure (façades cannot be exposed to sunlight within the 24 hours preceding the measurement). In the case of the electrical installation, it must be possible to start it up shortly before the inspection.
